Before You Book

  • Guests attending the Harbour Cruise should aim to arrive in Sydney no later than Friday morning. Those travelling from interstate or overseas may prefer to arrive on Thursday to enjoy a more relaxed start to the weekend.

  • No formal events are planned for Sunday, so you’re welcome to depart whenever best suits your travel arrangements.

  • There are no scheduled events on Sunday. Please allow sufficient time to travel to Sydney Airport and check traffic conditions before departing.

  • As early as possible. December is one of Sydney’s busiest periods and accommodation often books well in advance.

  • The choice is entirely yours. Whether you stay in Manly or elsewhere in Sydney, please allow sufficient travel time to and from each event, particularly during busy periods.

  • Absolutely. Guests are welcome to stay wherever is most convenient. Travel between central Sydney and Manly can take considerably longer during busy periods, so please allow additional time when planning your journey.

  • Accommodation is available to suit a wide range of budgets and preferences throughout Manly and Sydney.

  • Taxi, Uber, rideshare or a private transfer will generally provide the most direct journey.

    Guests using public transport can travel by train to Circular Quay before catching the Manly Ferry.

  • If you’re staying in central Sydney, the Manly Ferry is a scenic and convenient way to travel to and from Manly.

    Tickets can be purchased at the terminal or prior. Please check their website.

  • Yes. Uber and other rideshare services generally operate throughout Sydney and Manly, although waiting times may vary during busy periods.

  • Sydney’s public transport network is extensive. We recommend using the Transport for NSW Trip Planner for current routes, timetables and service information.

  • Limited street parking is available on Darley Road. No parking is available on the grounds of Cerretti Chapel and St Patrick’s Estate (Manly Castle). Please allow additional time and carefully observe all parking signs and restrictions.

  • Please check the restrictions applying to your chosen parking location or enquire directly with your accommodation. Leaving a vehicle overnight on surrounding streets is not recommended unless expressly permitted.

  • Whether you hire a car is entirely your choice. Some guests may prefer the convenience of having their own vehicle, while others may choose to rely on taxis, Uber or other rideshare services. Please allow additional time for traffic and parking regardless of your chosen mode of transport.

Communication

  • We’ll create a private WhatsApp group closer to the wedding. It will be used to share important information and updates before and during the wedding weekend.

  • Using one group ensures that all guests receive the same information at the same time.

  • WhatsApp is free to download. As wedding updates will be communicated through the group, individual updates will not be sent separately.

  • Once invitations have been sent, please contact us if you have not been included so that we can confirm your mobile number.

  • The website will continue to be updated as arrangements are confirmed. Please check it periodically before the wedding weekend.

  • Any important updates will be shared through the wedding WhatsApp group.

  • For the Harbour Cruise, we recommend resort-chic attire, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat if desired and footwear that can be removed easily before boarding.

    For the wedding, Black Tie attire is requested.

    If you plan to spend additional time exploring, you may also wish to bring swimwear, casual clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

  • Formal footwear for the wedding and comfortable footwear for walking and exploring.

    No specialty footwear is required for the harbour cruise as no shoes are permitted onboard.

  • Yes. December in Sydney is generally warm, and ultraviolet levels are often high.

  • That is entirely up to you. A hat is recommended if you plan to spend time outdoors outside of the wedding day event. Average temperatures in Manly rage from 18 to 25 in December.

  • That is entirely up to you. Sydney’s beaches are among its greatest attractions if you have time to enjoy them.

Gifts

  • No. We have no formal registry setup.

  • Yes. A wishing well will be available at the reception for guests who wish to honour us with a gift. A gift table will also be available for those who prefer to give a physical gift.

  • Yes. If you would prefer to send a gift outside the wedding day, please contact us through the wedding WhatsApp group. Physical gifts may also be placed on the gift table during the reception.

Harbour cruise

Before boarding

  • Yes. Please RSVP separately for the Harbour Cruise and Wedding Day.

  • The departure wharf will be confirmed closer to the event date and shared through the wedding website and the wedding WhatsApp group.

  • The wharf operator confirms the final departure location closer to the event date. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  • Boarding commences at 12:45pm for a prompt 1:00pm departure.

    Please allow sufficient time for traffic, parking and walking to the wharf, as the vessel cannot delay its departure.

  • Unfortunately, the vessel is unable to wait for late arrivals. Guests who miss boarding will be unable to join the cruise once it has departed.

Dress code

  • Resort Chic is relaxed elegance suitable for a summer afternoon on Sydney Harbour.

    For ladies, this might include a beautiful summer dress, elegant separates or a refined jumpsuit.

    For gentlemen, tailored chinos or trousers with a collared shirt or polo are ideal. A lightweight blazer is optional.

    We respectfully request that guests refrain from wearing beachwear, activewear or overly casual clothing.

    If you would like a little inspiration, we’ve curated the following mood board to offer a visual interpretation of the dress code. It is intended as inspiration only, and we encourage guests to interpret the dress code in a way that reflects their own personal style.

    Kindly note that shoes are not permitted on board.

  • If you’re prone to motion sickness, we recommend speaking with your pharmacist or doctor before travelling and taking any medication before boarding.

  • The Harbour Cruise will proceed in wet weather unless conditions are considered unsafe by the vessel operator.

  • Should severe weather affect the Harbour Cruise, any updates will be communicated through the wedding website and the wedding WhatsApp group.

  • The Harbour Cruise concludes at approximately 5:00pm. We encourage guests to take the opportunity to explore or enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants or bars before the wedding celebrations continue the following day.

Wedding dAY

CEREMONY

  • Guests are kindly requested to arrive at Cerretti Chapel between 2:30pm and 2:45pm and be seated no later than 2:55pm.

    The ceremony will commence promptly at 3:00pm with the entrance procession. Please allow sufficient time for parking and the short walk to the chapel. Unfortunately, no guests will be permitted inside the chapel after 2:55pm.

  • We will be married during a traditional Catholic Nuptial Mass.

    The ceremony will include Scripture readings, prayers, hymns, the exchange of vows and rings, Holy Communion and the Nuptial Blessing.

    A full Nuptial Mass generally lasts between 60 and 75 minutes.

  • Everyone is warmly welcome.

    Please feel free to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Guests are welcome to stand and sit with the congregation throughout the ceremony, although there is no expectation that anyone participate in the prayers or responses if they would prefer not to.

  • No.

    Your presence is all that is asked. We simply invite everyone to respectfully enjoy the ceremony.

  • Holy Communion is ordinarily received by practising Catholics who are properly prepared to do so.

    Guests who are not receiving Holy Communion are warmly invited to remain seated while Communion is distributed.

  • Yes. An Order of Service booklet will be provided upon arrival at the ceremony. It will guide you through the Nuptial Mass, including the order of the ceremony, readings and hymns.

  • To preserve the dignity of the ceremony, guests arriving after 2:55pm will unfortunately not be permitted entry into the chapel once the entrance procession has begun.

    Please allow additional time for weekend traffic and parking.

  • If possible, we kindly ask guests to remain for the duration of the ceremony. Should you need to leave urgently or unexpectedly, please do so quietly and at an appropriate time, with respect for the service.

  • Yes; however, all phones are required to be turned off or placed on silence prior to entering Cerretti Chapel.

    Due to Cerretti Chapel requirements no unauthorised photography or videography is permitted inside the chapel at any time, we appreciate your understanding.

    Photography and videography are not permitted inside Cerretti Chapel other than by the professional photographers and videographers engaged by the bride and groom. We kindly ask that all mobile phones are switched off or silenced before entering the chapel and remain put away for the duration of the ceremony.
